Comeraderie. Year in and year out, time and time again, we see how important that is come this time of the baseball season. The Cubs last year, the Royals the year before, and yes I’ll say it reluctantly so but the Red Sox the year before that. You see a team doing bits in the dugout like this, that’s a team that’s loose, that’s laughing, that’s united. And between this bit and the thumbs down bit these guys as united as it gets.
Yes, timely hitting matters. Yes, power bullpen arms matter. But what matters more than anything come October is camaraderie. Lucky enough, the Yankees have all three in spades.
