Dear Lord… look at those eyes. They’re piercing my soul. It’s as if Prince can see all the wrong and the right that I’ve ever done and has boiled it all down to one simple look of judgement. He can see all the joy, all the pain, all the laughs, all the tears, all the smiles, all the hurt. He knows my inner fears. He knows my aspirations. He knows my struggle. He knows my dreams. He knows my insecurities. He knows my strength. In one simple glance, he has torn me down and built me back up. And all in that moment, I feel weightless. Unburdened of all constraints both physical and psychological. I feel free.
P.S. No joke, I fully expected his Passport to just say Prince or literally just have his P symbol. Having the full “Prince Rodgers Nelson” on there is a huge, yuuuuuuge letdown.
