That’s Omar Vizquel catching a baseball. So pure. So effortless. It was almost metaphysical the way he caught that thing.

And also for some reason just absolutely hilarious. I can’t tell you how or why, but something about this video just cracked me up. Maybe I just have the giggles today? I don’t know. But I watched this video and found myself belly laughing every time Omar caught absorbed that baseball into his 1923 mitt and apparently-numb-to-pain right hand.

Omar Vizquel. Still the smoothest in the game at the ripe old age of fitty. Your fav could never.
