God damn what I would give to be this baby.
The innocence. The excitement. The wonder and awe. It’s a sobering moment to realize nothing that happens for the rest of your human existence will give you that type of reaction. Nothing. Ever. You don’t even have to be as cynical as I am. You can be the happiest go luckiest of all. You’re never going to experience that type of reaction ever again. Just a friendly reminder that life only gets worse and worse until it finally, mercifully ends.
