P.S.   Honestly, even if Cruz is a shell of himself, I’ve never been more confident in a rookie than I am in Sterling Shephard. Watch one minute of game film on him from college and you know that dude is a fucking GAMER. There are players that just have it and this dude has it in spades. I can absolutely, 100% guarantee he’s a stud from day 1. And even if Cruz never returns to form, or–god forbid–never even returns to the field… Even if we lose him, at worst, we’re still going into this season with one of the three best receivers in the game on one side, and a very reliable, 1000-yard, 8-touchdown, doesn’t-drop-passes, very clutch number two receiver. That’s the worst case scenario.

Best case? Greatest receiving corps ever.
