Mad Dog’s “ONE TIME” Rant Leading Into The Mike & The Mad Dog Reunion Tonight

onetimerant1

One of the most relatable sports rants of all time. Just an incredible mix of frustration and exhaustion. Wildly irrational but still rational the whole way through. A perfect encapsulation of being completely and utterly DONE with your team. Something we can all relate to.

Tonight is the night! A GOOD AFTANOON EVERYBODY to you. And a HOW ARE YOU TODAY to you. Mike and the Mad Dog reunion tonight, Radio City, 8pm, and your boy will be in the building.

They’ve been playing classic clips from Mike and The Mad Dog all day, and I just jumped back in right as this was starting.

Absolute all time clip. One of the most relatable sports rants of all time. Just an incredible mix of frustration and exhaustion. Wildly irrational but still rational the whole way through. A perfect encapsulation of being completely and utterly DONE with your team, only to turn right back around the next day and believe that next time will be the time things change. It’s something we can all relate to. It’s somewhere we’ve all been as fans. It’s an incredible rant. And while it may have lost a little luster after the Giants recent dominance of the last six years, the passion behind it is something that everyone with a perpetually pathetic franchise can relate to forever.

…A franchise like the New York Knicks
