Occasionally–in between wild rants against Phil and Rambis and Dolan and the entire dumpster fire that is the New York Knicks–it’s nice to stop and remember how lucky I am to have Kristaps in my life.
Sure Phil Jackson is doing everything he can fuck up what should be a very clear rebuild around him. And is seemingly actively attempting to waste these first few years sticking him in the post in a stupid offense that doesn’t play to his skill set. And has teamed him with over-the-hill shoot-first career losers like Melo, Afflalo, and Jose. And is entrusting an incompetent failure of a head coach in Rambis with his development during these invaluable first few seasons.
But hey, other than that, I’m #blessed to have Kristaps in my life.
