Amare vs Melo, Phil Jackson vs Steph Curry, Melo vs his haters, Kurt Rambis vs. common sense, and a wildly depressing look at just how hot this dumpter fire of a franchise can get right now. WE ARE THE NEW YORK KNICKS!

Fun times at The Garden Baby! Knicks basketball, best product in town! New York New York, the franchise so nice they named it after a pair of pants. Quality basketball rolled out night after night in the MECCA! A winning product both on and off the court! FUN FUN FUN baby! So much going on that I can’t even decide what the best part of rooting for this team is.
Is it our former disaster of a franchise player taking thinly veiled shots at our current disaster of a franchise player?
NY Post — Amar’e Stoudemire, playing at the Garden on Sunday for the first time since his Knicks buyout last February, unleashed a series of shots at his former running mate Carmelo Anthony…
“If [Lin] stayed, it would’ve been cool,’’ Stoudemire said. “But everyone wasn’t a fan of him being a new star. So he didn’t stay long. Jeremy was a great, great guy, great with teammates, worked hard. He put the work in. We were proud of him having his moment. A lot of times you got to enjoy somebody else’s success. That wasn’t the case for us during that stretch. You got to enjoy that and let that player enjoy himself and cherish those moments. He was becoming a star and I didn’t think everyone was pleased with that.’’
Stoudemire didn’t name names but it was clear whom he meant. Anthony had trouble hiding his envy during “Linsanity.’’
Or is it that same current franchise player tweeting motivational quotes like a teenage girl to let the world know just how much he doesn’t care about the haters that he clearly cares about?
Is it our senile team president continuing his crusade against three point shooting by comparing the best basketball player in the world to Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf?
Or is it how that same team president is the only person in the entire NBA who won’t embrace the pace-and-space, pick-and-pop system that EVERY smart team is running and that fits our basketball unicorn franchise player perfectly?
Is it that our former wildly incompetent head coach fucked his former teammate’s wife and got in a well publicized fight right before the season?
Or that our new wildly incompetent head coach caught himself a nice old twitter porn scandal before winning his first game?
Is it how that same new incompetent head coach just played Melo for 41 minutes (after sitting out the week of practice with his ongoing knee issues) and Jose for 40 minutes (despite being the most washed athlete in human history) in a meaningless February game for a 25-36 team that will absolutely not make the playoffs?
Or that he did so at the expense of our franchise building block rookies, who played a combined 32 minutes despite clearly needing the minutes to develop this season?
Is it that no matter what positive things may happen in the draft or free agency or anything from a basketball standpoint, we’re still owned by an fat trust fund baby midget ewok who plays the kazoo?
Or that we’ll still hopelessly pour money into his pockets when none of those “good basketball things” actually happen?
You know what, I know what it is… it’s that we’re playing out this entire season knowing that we have no first round pick thanks to the insurance policy trade for Bargniani that we made because our former franchise player of a power forward mentioned above couldn’t stay on the fucking court more than ten minutes without throwing his back out again.
And that we just watched him play the same amount of minutes in a professional basketball game as the lone bright spot of the entire Knicks franchise.
All after having the gall to criticize the current state of the Knicks franchise as if he wasn’t as responsible as anyone for this mess.
This is the current state of the New York Knicks. If you need me I’ll be on Twitter @yourboyham11 until the bleach I just drank burns through all my vital organs.
GO NEW YORK GO NEW YORK GO
Help me Kristaps Porzingis, you’re my only hope…
