Hilarious video, and an even funnier reaction with the eyes. But I’m not gonna make fun of Eric Collins here. Just can’t do it. These little clips just serve as a weekly reminder of how crazy it is to be a play by play guy. These guys spend almost three hours on the air every game and barely ever slip up. Think about how insane that it. There is no possible way I could get through a three hour broadcast without dropping an “oh fuck” or slipping up like Eric Collins here. And sure, I might not be the paragon of maturity here. I am posting a blog about an announcer saying “came in my lap”, after all. But I will never be unimpressed by the way these guys can make it through a full broadcast every night – regardless if someone comes in their lap.
