The crossover between this Clemson-Alabama game and the Star Wars The Force Awakes trailer is absolutely perfect. Nailed every aspect, from the “there were stories about what happened” footage of 1981, to the “finish what you started” hat-tip to Tajh and Sammy, to every chill-inducing clip from this magical season. Awesome video.

I mean, come on, can you have a more perfect crossover than Clemson-Alabama and Star Wars. Bama IS the Dark Side. Clemson are the perfect Jedis.

Dabo is so Rey it’s not even funny. The ultra-talented Jedi that came out of nowhere to immediately be more powerful than Kylo Ren. And Kylo Ren–the petulant, overrated, ill-tempered mental midget–is of course Nick Saban.

Deshaun is the perfect captain in Poe Dameron. Caught the injury early, but came back to lead his team to victory. Derrick Henry is every replaceable Evil Empire General that is only good because of his resources but underwhelms at his job when it matters most and gets replaced immediately by the exact same type of person who does the exact same thing as him. Boulware can be Chewbacca because that just fits. Or the offensive line, that works too. Wayne and Artavis are the other pilots with Poe. And I guess Finn is just Shaq, Jayron, and Mackensie all rolled into one because of their shit talking. The comparisons just go on and on.

P.S.   Seeing as What’s The Action is about to dive headfirst into a pool of Alabama hate these next five days, it’s gonna be interesting to see…

Will it be more fun to piss off actual Alabama fans, or to piss off all the people who didn’t actually go to Bama but are rooting for them and comment on message boards and Facebook posts because of their inferiority complex about the SEC/the south/their general incompetence? Real toss up. I guess we’ll find out…
