40 seconds. 40 seconds of nothing but Mike Francesa counting to the number 42 like first grader forced to get up in front of the class. Except instead of “in front of the class”, this was in front of the world’s biggest market. The same market he has dominated both with Dog and by himself for over 25 yeahs. I’d like to call this video unbelievable, but anyone who listens to Mike knows this is as believable as it gets. For me it’s right up there with the dead silences while Mike researches something on his phone as one of the funnier Francesa moments ever. I was listening live and started laughing out loud before he even got to twenty. Absolutely preposterous that he knows he can just keep going and going and going for almost a full minute just counting numbers and won’t lose a single listener. Big shouts to @RNs_Funhouse for grabbing this video.
