I Hate To Admit It, But This Picture Of Tom Brady Is Absolutely Magical

Look, I’ll always appreciate greatness. At the end of the day, if you’re at the height of your sport, I’ll respect the shit out of you. Can’t help it. The greatest of all time deserve their due, and as long as they’re not playing against one of my teams or, in the case of a direct rival, playing for a championship, I’ll keep a reserved appreciation for what I’m witnessing. Because when it comes down to it, watching someone operate at the height of their field is really as fun as it gets. Now it’s easy to say that about someone like Steph Curry or Mike Trout who are just easily likable. And it’s a little harder to say about someone like Lebron or Aaron Rodgers. But at the end of the day, greatness is greatness.

And that’s what brings me to Brady. Sure I hate him and his wife who looks like a dude and his stupid uggs and the endless screaming on the field and the entitled whining and all of it. But at the end of the day I respect this shit out of what he’s doing right now. He’s just in total command of everything out there, and his ability to mold the offense into whatever is necessary in that situation is truly remarkable. So while I hate his guts, I respect the fuck out of what he’s been able to do this year. And this messiah-esque picture is pretty well deserved.

I don’t know if anyone else feels that way, I guess it’s just easier to take the hate blinders off when you’ve ripped a man’s heart out… twice.

See you in February Tom.
